My name is Michael Green. I am Director of Operation Recovery Ministries. I spent many years as a drug addict and alcoholic. In 1991 I was incarcerated and spent 8 years in the Texas’ prison system. Through a deep spiritual experience with Jesus Christ along with counseling, A.A., Chaplains and other religious volunteers I begin a lifelong relationship with Christ Jesus. I am now 28 years clean and sober. It is my desire to pass on to others what God has given me. I believe this Ministry and our programs can give a person the tools needed to accomplish that.! 

It is our mission to provide necessity items to the homeless, low income and needy of our local communities. We work within a 50 mile radius of our location encompassing 10 other small towns.

We provide items like toilet paper, toothbrushes and tooth paste, laundry supplies, clothing and blankets. We also hand out Bibles and tracts with our care packages.  

This Ministry depends entirely on your generous donations. We do not nor will we seek any government assistance.This is not possible without your help. We are a registered Non Profit with the State of Texas and Hold our 501(C)(3).  

Our staff is made up of ex addicts helping addicts
